mplSystems comes up trumps! March 2007 mplSystems, the technology channel for Message Pad, the Warwick based contact centre technology and services company, is delighted to announce that its latest multi-media contact centre technology project has been completed – this time in Malta for on-line gaming company GNUF.com. Working with PA Consulting Group, the project took just 6 weeks from contract to completion and included establishing a multi-site network between Malta, Sweden (GNUF’s technical support base) and the UK, based on VOIP technology. PA Consulting Group, the management, systems and technology consulting firm, approached mplSystems in October 2006 looking for a contact centre solution to support its clients new online gaming venture. Despite the perception that on-line gaming is still a new market, it generated $13 billion in 2005 and GNUF was established in early 2006 in anticipation of this continued rapid growth. mplSystems was chosen to provide the contact centre technology – intelligentContact™ - for the GNUF customer support centre for its flexibility and multi-media capabilities. The new contact centre in Malta was completed in December 2006 and now provides customer service for Gnuf’s players across 10 European countries.
